Featured Photographers on March 13th 2026

The March 2026 Gallery Night at Coastal Photo Studio in North Bend, Oregon brings together eight talented Oregon Coast photographers for an evening celebrating fine art, portrait, landscape, and documentary photography. This curated exhibition showcases diverse styles rooted in storytelling, natures beauty, and community connection. Cory Caldwell is a fine art and portrait photographer on the Oregon Coast known for expressive black-and-white imagery and meditative storytelling. His work spans portraits, architecture, animals, and coastal sunsets throughout Coos Bay and North Bend.

Rachel Snow is an Oregon Coast portrait and wildlife photographer with a passion for nature and coastal landscapes. Her photography reflects the diverse beauty of the South Coast, from community events to Pacific Northwest wildlife.

Sarah Barber is an Oregon nature and conceptual photographer who blends documentary realism with dreamlike storytelling. Her photography explores emotional landscapes and the beauty of the natural world along the South Coast.

Darla Parthemore is an Oregon Coast fine art photographer rooted in landscape and nature photography. Her work reflects a deep connection to coastal environments, capturing changing light and hidden details throughout Coos Bay and the Pacific Northwest.

Alice Stellar is a South Coast landscape photographer inspired by solitude, light, and the peaceful beauty of Oregon’s coastal scenery. Her photography highlights authentic, present-moment imagery rooted in the Coos Bay community.

The March 2026 Photo Exhibition marks the launch of Coastal Photo Studio’s exhibition series. This one-night, juried show features a limited selection of eight photographic works, each professionally printed at 11×17 and thoughtfully displayed to allow space, conversation, and connection.

Timed with North Bend’s Sip N Stroll, the exhibition invites the community to experience photography in a relaxed, walkable setting—where art is viewed in person, artists are celebrated, and visual storytelling takes center stage. All selected works will be available through a silent auction, with additional opportunities for community participation throughout the evening.

Exhibition fee is FREE for the March 13th, 2026 Gallery Night. Artists to submit up to three (3) images for consideration.
From all submissions received, one (1) image per artist may be selected for the gallery night, with up to eight (8) photographers featured in each exhibition.

Christopher James Trotchie

Christopher James Trotchie is a photographer whose work centers on people, place, and
human connection. Through street portraiture and documentary practices, his images explore
what it feels like to exist in relationship—with one another and with the environments we inhabit.

Travis Cooper

Travis Cooper is a creative trailblazer, bringing over 25 years of expertise in commercial, broadcast, documentary, hospitality, and travel content creation. His journey is a commitment to story, design, artistic excellence, and a legacy of shaping visual narratives that resonate with audiences.

Our photography exhibitions in North Bend, Oregon are intentionally curated to reflect the creativity, diversity, and stories of artists living and working on the Oregon Coast.

Artists may submit up to three images for jury consideration.

No late submissions accepted.
Only eight works will be selected.

Submissions are reviewed by an independent jury panel.

Artists will be contacted directly before any public announcement.

Artist names will be shared publicly.
Artwork will remain unrevealed until the exhibition night.

Behind-the-scenes features, preparation highlights, and artist introductions will be shared leading up to the exhibition.

Exhibition FAQ

What is the format of the exhibition?

Each exhibition is a one-night, juried photo exhibition presented by Coastal Photo Studio. Shows are intentionally limited in size and timed with North Bend’s Wine Walk to create a relaxed, high-visibility experience for both artists and attendees.


How many works are selected for each exhibition?

Each exhibition features eight photographic works, with one image selected per artist. This allows every piece space to be seen and experienced without crowding.


What size are the prints?

All selected images are professionally printed at 11×17 for consistent presentation and visual impact.


How does the submission process work?

Submissions are reviewed by an independent jury panel made up of photographers, arts professionals, and community representatives. Judges score submissions individually using a shared rubric. Coastal Photo Studio acts as curator and facilitator.


Is there a submission fee? What does it support?

Yes, a per-image submission fee applies. This fee supports:

  • Professional printing of selected work

  • Wine Walk food and wine for the event

  • Studio operational support and exhibition materials

The submission fee is designed as an investment in the local arts community.


How long will my work be displayed?

Selected works are displayed during the exhibition event from 4:00–8:00 PM. Following the event, all selected images will be featured in a post-event digital gallery with full artist credit.


Will my work be for sale?

Yes. All selected works are available through a silent auction, with bidding starting at $25.

  • Artists receive 90% of the final sale price

  • Coastal Photo Studio retains 10%

  • Unsold work is taken home by the artist


Can I upgrade to a framed print?

Yes. Artists have the option to upgrade their selected print to a framed version for $10.


What is Community Choice?

Attendees are invited to vote for their favorite piece during the exhibition. The artist receiving Community Choice is awarded the artist portion of the evening’s 50/50 raffle — a direct investment from the community into the arts.


Do I need to attend the exhibition if my work is selected?

Attendance is encouraged but not required. Many artists enjoy attending to engage with the community, but participation is flexible.


Who can submit work?

Calls for submissions are open to photographers as outlined in each exhibition’s guidelines. Details such as eligibility, themes (if applicable), and deadlines will be shared during each submission period.


How will selected artists be announced?

Selected artists will be notified privately before any public announcements. Artist names will be shared publicly prior to the exhibition; images will be revealed in person during the event.
