Who can apply?

The Coastal Photo Studio Senior Ambassador Program is open to Class of 2027 seniors from local and surrounding schools, including homeschool and alternative education students.

We’re looking for seniors who are enthusiastic, reliable, kind, inclusive, and excited to make their senior year memorable. You do not need modeling experience or to be naturally comfortable in front of the camera. Bring your personality, interests, and willingness to participate—we’ll take care of the photography part!

How many ambassadors will be selected?

For our inaugural year, we will select up to 6 Founding Ambassadors for the Class of 2027.

We’re intentionally keeping our first team small so each ambassador receives a personalized experience and we have room to create, experiment, and build something special together.

Not every applicant will be selected.

Does my senior need a large social media following?

Absolutely not!

We’re much more interested in participation than popularity. Your senior does not need hundreds or thousands of followers to be a great ambassador.

We’re looking for seniors who are willing to share their experience, interact with Coastal Photo Studio online, tag the studio when sharing their ambassador images, and genuinely tell their friends about their experience.

What are the social media requirements?

Senior Ambassadors will be asked to regularly share and engage with their Coastal Photo Studio experience throughout the school year.

This may include sharing images from their sessions, tagging Coastal Photo Studio, sharing occasional Ambassador Program posts, and recommending the studio to friends looking for senior photography.

We don’t expect ambassadors to turn their personal social media accounts into advertisements. We want sharing to feel natural, authentic, and true to them.

Does applying guarantee a spot?

No. The Senior Ambassador Program is application-based, and submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.

Up to six Class of 2027 seniors will be selected based on overall fit, enthusiasm, reliability, willingness to participate, and what they could bring to the team.

This isn’t a popularity contest, and follower count will not determine who is selected.

What happens if my senior misses a session or Ambassador event?

We understand that senior year is busy, and sometimes plans change! Individual Signature Senior and Senior Story Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice, according to Coastal Photo Studio’s standard rescheduling policy.

Ambassador Welcome Night, group sessions, collaborations, and other Ambassador-only opportunities are scheduled specifically for the team and will not have individual makeup dates. If an Ambassador is unable to attend, they will simply miss that experience and any benefits associated with it.

Because this is a year-long program with a small, limited team, reliable participation and communication are an important part of being a Senior Ambassador.

When is payment due?

The Founding Ambassador Program is a $499 investment.

Families may choose to pay the program investment in full or select an available payment plan. Your senior’s position on the team is officially secured once the required program agreement has been completed and the initial payment has been received.

Is the $499 a fee for being an Ambassador?

No. The $499 investment is for your senior’s full photography experience.

The program includes two Signature Senior Sessions with 15+ edited images from each, the Founding Ambassador Welcome Night, official Ambassador portraits, personalized swag, exclusive opportunities and perks throughout the year, and the opportunity to earn a complimentary Cap & Gown Studio Session.

Ambassador participation gives your senior access to an experience and benefits beyond a traditional senior portrait session.

What happens if Ambassador commitments aren’t completed?

The complimentary Cap & Gown Studio Session is an earned Ambassador benefit.

Ambassadors who complete the established participation and sharing requirements throughout the school year will receive their complimentary session in June 2027.

If those commitments aren’t completed, the senior simply does not earn the complimentary Cap & Gown Session. Their previously completed sessions and delivered images are unaffected.

Can my senior book additional sessions with Coastal Photo Studio?

Absolutely! Being an Ambassador doesn’t limit your senior to the sessions included in the program.

Ambassadors are welcome to book additional Coastal Photo Studio sessions throughout their senior year and may receive access to Ambassador-only pricing and special opportunities, including Prom photography.

Can my senior participate in another photographer’s Ambassador or Rep Program?

Senior Ambassadors may still work with other photographers during their senior year. However, while representing Coastal Photo Studio, Ambassadors may not simultaneously represent or actively promote another local photographer’s senior Ambassador, Spokesmodel, or Rep Program.

What happens if my senior decides not to continue with the program?

A place on the Founding Ambassador Team is limited and reserved specifically for your senior. Because of this, program fees are non-refundable once your senior has accepted their position and enrolled.

If your senior chooses to withdraw from the program, unused sessions, Ambassador opportunities, perks, rewards, and the complimentary Cap & Gown Session will be forfeited.

Any completed sessions and delivered images remain yours according to the terms of your photography agreement.

What happens when my senior refers someone?

We love referrals! Senior Ambassadors will have opportunities to earn special referral rewards throughout the year when friends and classmates book qualifying sessions with Coastal Photo Studio.

Referral perks and opportunities will be shared with the Ambassador Team throughout the program.

Does my senior have to be comfortable in front of the camera?

Not at all.

Some seniors walk into their session ready for the camera, while others need a little time to warm up. Both are welcome here.

The Ambassador Program is about celebrating personality, creativity, confidence, and growth—not modeling experience. Part of the experience is giving your senior a comfortable space to be themselves and watching that confidence grow throughout their senior year.
